Tiana

Tiana is a municipality located in the Serralada Litoral, very close to Barcelona. From the hill of Galceran in the north-east to the Coll de Montalegre in the north-west, the municipality descends to the municipal term of Montgat, towards the coast.

Strolling through its center you can discover areas full of history, such as Jardí de Lola Anglada, or stroll through the Parc del Tramvia. In addition, in the upper part of Tiana, stands the hermitage of Mare de Déu de l'Alegria (Our Lady of Joy), a building in late Gothic style. Also, on the slopes of the mountain range you can visit the Montalegre monastery, which dates from the beginning of the 15th century.

Tiana can also be the starting point for numerous hiking routes to discover the forests and landscapes of the Serralada Litoral.
