lmportant regattas are held in the Maresme at national and even international level. El Balís Nautical Club hosts the MedSailing Eurocup, an international event that brings together about 200 sailors from all over Europe, the Regata Dragonera and the Cornudella Trophy, among others
In Arenys de Mar marina, the traditional Synera Cup for cruising yachts is particularly noteworthy.
Finally, Mataró Port is the start of the Minorca Biosphere Reserve regatta, which sails to the natural port of Fornells, in Minorca.
