Hiking itineraries in the Maresme to walk with the whole family.

 

If you are a nature lover and enjoy hiking, in the Maresme you can enjoy your hobby with your family. In this region you can find a wide variety of itineraries ideal for walking with children. 

El Pont de la Vila (Villa Bridge) (SL-C 74)
 

We begin by heading to the mountainous area of the city of Mataró, the capital of Maresme. We propose the Pont de la Vila (SL-C 74) itinerary, a route of approximately 2 km and of a duration of 40 minutes that encircles the Mataró Forest Park. From here you can enjoy magnificent views of the city, have a picnic and climb the trees at the Adventure Park which is in the same space.

The Hermitage of Erola (SL-C78)

 

We continue and move to the area of Hortsavinyà, in Tordera. The Hermitage of Erola (SL-C 78) itinerary takes you around the area and is for all ages, as it is approximately 2 km and of a duration of 30 minutes. This walk takes you to see the Church of Sant Llop located at Montnegre massif, the Hermitage of Erola where you will discover its anecdotal history and then enjoy the panoramic views of the surrounding valleys.

The Corredor plain (SL-C 72)


In the municipality of Dosrius we can find an incredible place known as the The Corredor plain, where the Sanctuary of la Mere de Déu dels Socors is located . Here you can enjoy a good picnic with a view of Montserrat, rest and play with the family... And have a great time! At the foot of the sanctuary is the starting point for the Corredor plain (SL-C 72) itinerary, a short and quiet route of 2 km and of 45 minutes duration that takes you through the natural landscape of the plain.

Can Boquet Prehistoric route

 

Above the ridge of the Serralada Litoral, in Vilassar de Dalt and inside the natural park, we find the Can Boquet area. Here you can follow an itinerary of 2 km with a duration of approximately 40 minutes during which can discover different late Neolithic sites such as Roca d'en Toni and  Cova de la granota (frog cave) among others.

From Font de l'Alba to La Conreria (SL-C 146)

Finally, let's go to Tiana, in the Serralada de Marina Park. Here we find the shortest but steepest route of those proposed. It is an itinerary of 1.2 km with an altitude difference of 116 m which takes 35 minutes to complete. It goes from the Tiana sports area to theColl de la Conreria, between the Maresme and the Vallès Oriental. It is interesting to see the Astronomical Observatory of Tiana and enjoy the recreation area at the Alba Fountain.
