I am the iaia del Maresme, and I will guide you to get to know the region as a family!
Hello! I am La Coia, although everyone knows me as the grandmother of the Maresme. Surely you have heard of me, I am always up and down the municipalities of the region. But I also go to tourist fairs, because I am the ambassador of my land. I love inviting everyone to come to the Maresme, because we have everything: beach, mountains, culture, history, gastronomy, sports... There are always things to do!
The Costa del Maresme Tourism Promotion Consortium asked me to become the figure that represented family tourism. There are many families: with a father and a mother, with two mothers, with two fathers, with a father, with a mother, with one or many children, with pets... and how could we fit it all together? Well with me! We grandmothers are the ones who know everything. Our experience can help you discover new things, to avoid making mistakes and, above all, we give advice with a lot of love. That's why they decided to count on me. And me, delighted!
So my task is to know the Maresme from top to bottom, from right to left and from end to end. With my friend Picotet we participate in all the activities we can, we visit all the possible places and we talk to all the people we meet. So we can tell you everything! By train or by bicycle, by car or by bus, and above all by walking a lot, the grandmother of the Maresme and Picotet are everywhere.
