Mataró | Art | Contemporani was born in 2013 as a creation, production, formation and diffusion platform to the contemporary art environment, well-connected and relationed with the city and Mataró's territory, its circuits, networks, users and all publics.

M|A|C is a cultural public project born from the cooperation between the city hall and the Culture Department of Generalitat de Catalunya, which offers a diffusion program, that includes exhibitions, activities and education, and M|A|C Lab, for resident projects, workshops and production aids, use of equipments and ressources, calls and documentation spaces.
