Parc de la Serralada de Marina

"An ancient and living land. Surrounded by large urban centers, the Park fulfills a fundamental role as a green, educational and leisure space within the metropolitan area. Due to this strategic location, the southern sector of the Serralada de Marina plays a key role in the territorial structuring of this area. Despite the human pressure, the park presents a remarkable wealth of species of fauna and flora, and preserves a very rich historical heritage, in which Iberian villages, monasteries and farmhouses stand out."

Parc Serralada de la Marina

Parc de la Serralada Litoral

Consisting mainly of the hills of Galzeran, Sant Miquel Castle, Baldiri, Sant Mateu, Céllecs and Burriac Castle, the park plays a fundamental ecological role because it connects the coast with the interior valleys. The Mediterranean climate and its strategic geographical situation have meant that man has settled there since ancient times, as evidenced by the presence of dolmens, archaeological remains from the Iberian era, hermitages and medieval castles that today coexist with farmhouses of crops."

Parc del Montnegre i el Corredor

"Two large massifs, the Corredor and the Montnegre, make up this space, located in the Serralada Litoral. Its location, between the sea and inland, confers a vegetation with characteristics typical of the cool Mediterranean climate. Neolithic dolmens, archaeological remains of Iberian period and medieval churches are distributed in a landscape bordered by crops, forests and farmhouses."
