Entre el Maresme i el Vallès per Alella i el coll de Parpers

Road 18: Between the Maresme and the Vallès through Alella and the Parpers pass

 

We start the route in the municipality of El Masnou and head towards the Font de Cera pass between the towns of Alella and Vallromanes. This ascent, with a length of 5.7 km and an average gradient of 4.5% is acceptable for all types of cyclists.
Once in the neighboring region of Vallès Oriental, the road becomes quite flat as we head towards the town of La Roca del Vallès. In La Roca, we turn towards the Coll de Parpers, an iconic port in the region, with a length of 5.3 km and a gentle gradient of 3.2%, from where we return to the Maresme and follow the N-II highway back to El Masnou.
