The Green Meridian
BTT 2 -The Green Meridian
The Green Meridian is an initiative to commemorate the measurement of the Paris meridian that served as the basis for defining the meter as a unit of measure. The meridian runs from Dunkirk, in the North Sea, to Ocata beach, in Masnou.
The Catalan project is divided into 11 stages and connects the Pyrenees with the beaches of the Maresme, through a very well-preserved corridor with a succession of landscapes of great natural interest. The route has its own signage and is traced from north to south (N to S). It can be done either on foot or by mountain bike.
