Green Meridian From Roca del Vallès to Ocata beach

Green Meridian From Roca del Vallès to Ocata beach

This itinerary, which allows you to cross the Parc de la Serralada del Litoral transversally, from north to south, is the last stage of a much longer route that follows - as faithfully as possible - the so-called Green Meridian. This meridian, which connects Dunkirk with Barcelona via Paris, served, in 1799, to establish the length of the meter and, consequently, the Decimal Metric System.

The route is signposted with painted green directional arrows, printed on a sticker (especially in the population centers) or stamped on a plate stuck on recycled material supports. In some cases, a cross of the same green color indicates that the path is not the right one.

Towns: El Masnou, Òrrius, Premià de Dalt, Teià, Vilassar de Dalt
