One of the most interesting times of the day to visit the port of Arenys is in the afternoon from Monday to Friday, because of the spectacle that all the boats form when they enter the port, followed by seagulls in search of discarded fish. After a long day of work, it's time to sell the fruits collected at the market, the building where the fish auction is held every afternoon.
Until recently, the Arenys auction was sung loudly. Today it is done using modern electronic methods.
You can come and see the auction for free from Monday to Friday at approximately 4pm in the fish market.
